Hilary, I agree with most everything you way. Even though I work for
a PBS affiliate, I do now what constitues good work on spots and
segments. Unfortunately, mostof the kids going through the program
now have grown up with MTV, and go to great lengths to emulate the
videos, complete with quick cuts, shaking camera and hundreds of
effects per minute. Maybe we should force feed them classic films
for a semester or two?
