is the key in the trick that the wipe of the flic file has to be vertical? i wrote my name in cursive as a freehand line, brought it in as a path, lofted a shape with mapping turned on. applied the surface, with the flic as a texture & opacity map, but it was a horizontal wipe, and the final rendered scene was just kind of a vanishing effect, still not the look im trying to achieve…probably just something small and stoopid that im forgetting to do or over-looking! thanks again for the continued assistance, it is much appreciated! justin. oh yeah, does anyone know where i can track down the schreiber inst.
