Why shouldn't Commodore UK announce things ? After all the UK IS the biggest Amiga market… if your statment was true, then why wasn't the CD32 launched in the US first ? …. says something about which market they think is most important. As for annoucing machines far in advance, we all know that Commodore has changed the way they do announcments… hell we have known about the AAA chip set for ages. To be honest announcing early has the added benefit of letting people know which direction the company is heading, and at least people KNOW that continuing work is being done. The only people who dismiss it right out of hand are those that DON'T want to believe that Commodore might actually be moving on to bigger and better things, I know *I* would rather listen to Dave Pleasance then to someone who is a friend of a friend of an employee who "thinks" it's all bull. Surely the fact that David Pleasance is the Head of Commodore UK stands for something ?
