Ah, stuffing words in, munch.. munch.. 🙂 If you knew what you were doing "on the Amiga" you would have not had the problems you had. My guess is that you opened the machine, and installed the drive. After all–it couldn't possibly be different? Could it? Yep, it sure is. Surprise! So what? Does that give you the license to come in here and trash the Amiga as if you had some greater understanding of the what is 'right' and what is 'superior'? I pointed out to you that the PC is no joy to deal with at all when it comes to installing the hardware. I also note that many of the 'clone' PCs do not have telephone support either. You ignore those facts and post on and on. I don't mind you asking for help, but it bothers me greatly when you speak about things you don't obvisouly know about, and put down the machine as you have in prior postings. Saying that the Amiga without the toaster is useless will not be taken lightly around here I am afraid. You would be any relation to Jerry Pournell of Byte fame would you? -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..
