David: I am quite sure that you are right. I would think that part of the problem is that you are talking about a totally different market than the machine was originally targeted for. I think that the business professionals are the ones that will make the difference. I am sure that most of the manufactures are reluctant to take on such a specialized market as the professional video market. What is probably going to happen is that the developers that are making the hardware for 'home video' work will keep upgrading their products until they reach the minimum standards for broadcast quality. 73, bill
