Digitizing live video
At Autodesk Univ. in San Francisco last week I saw the people from
Diaquest capturing live video, frame by frame, converting the frames
to Targa files, and using the Targa file sequence as a material in a
3D studio animation. They were using Video Post and .bat files with
Diaquest software commands to digitize each frame of video. We have
an Alix animation controller from Videomedia. Does anybody know a way
to use the Alix to do this type of "rotoscoping?" Many of you in this
forum recommended the Alix to us, so if you have any hints or
suggestions, we'd be glad to hear them!
