Robb: What's the problem here? Twice I've had reason to complain about the Amiga, both times it has involved the inability to cold-boot from newly installed IDE drives. The first time around, no one had a real answer. The second time around, it turns out that I'm not the only one to have been complaining and that, indeed, Commodore has reputedly revised the motherboard to rectify the IDE problem. Okay, I consider that evidence of slipshod engineering. I also think Commodore's lack of direct technical support is also less than desirable. In short, I don't have a high impression of Commodore or the Amiga. Why do you feel that opinions such as mine are out of place? Jerry
