#Closing sweeps
I have two questions (that I will ask in separate messages). 1) What
does one do when a model created by the sweep function in MacroModel
1.5 for the Mac does not have capped ends? I have made sure "End
Caps" in the Preferences is checked, but the sweep doesn't close. I
am trying to make a column that has surface detail, so my sweep
profile is not a simple shape. I am also changing the proportion of
the end of the sweep, so the column tapers at the top. I am creating
the profiles in Vellum, exporting a .dxf file, then selecting the
bits and pieces of my profile in MacroModel and joining them to make
the profile. All of that works, except my model won't close.
Anything I'm missing? Thanks!
