Having spent loadsa dollars on both PhotoStyler and PhotoShop (and Gallery Effects add-ins)..I found a desperate need to be able to batch process effects. For example, taking a sequence (300+ frames) of a man running and turning it into a charcoal sketch of a man running….. So, out came Visual Basic..and off I went into hibernation. I now have a batch program, that asks me for an input file spec – i.e MANR, the start and end frame number (i.e 5 to 500), an effect – i.e chalk and charcoal, a settings level, a destination and a application (PStyler or PShop) It then fires up say, Photoshop, loads in MANR0005 processes it, writes it out, closes it and moves on to MANR0006 etc etc… I'm toying withthe idea of making it a little prettier and less specific (it's hard coded to my machines settings..) and then offering it as shareware.
