David, John Fisher, an attendee at the PPT session at Clackamas OR in August, demonstrated a DCL/Lisp routine he called AutoTest. Running in Acad (Win or DOS) the test used an "info trap" that wouldn't let you begin the test unless you filled all the fields. Your performance was constantly monitored – answers right, questions left, time left, etc. Quiz material was created with any text editor which the routine read and presented in a good looking dialog. Questions were selected at random from the text file and "radio buttons" were placed by each possible answer. The routine also mixed up the choices to prevent cheating – every time you ran "AutoTest", the quiz was different. Terence Shumaker and I both urged John to market this routine – it looked good!
