To Anyone, Help! I have an A2000 and I think that I have blown my mouse port fuse. I was plugging in my mouse and now it doesn't work. Both buttons work, as does the joystick. The pointer will not move. The pointer moves when I use the cursor and alt keys. A couple of years ago this happened while it was still under warrenty and they told me that the mouse fuse had blown. I have changed the serial port (or parallel port) fuse on another 2000 and it was a little green thing. I have three of these green things labeled f2, f3, and f4. The thing labeled f1 seem to be a resistor. It is right next to the mouse port. Did they use a resistor as the fuse? I have tested the resistor and it seems to be open. Can anybody give me any suggestions. I have called to get it repaired and they wanted $50 to $75 to fix it. If it is only the fuse I can change it myself. Thanks, Stephen A
