Newsletter for CAD Developers Celebrates 1st Anniversary
SUMAS, WA, USA — 5 January, 1994 — XYZ Publishing today announced the January
issue of the CAD++ Newsletter, the international reference for CAD developers,
is now available. The newsletter is the first to cover the the three APIs
capable of reading and writing AutoCAD DWG files. In this first of a two-part
series, translator expert Scott Taylor reviews products from Autodesk
OEM/Sirlin, Marcomp, and SoftSource.
DXF Expert Dietmar Rudolph examines how well CadKey's CKLISP works with
AutoLISP from five different viewpoints. He concludes that CadKey, Inc., has it
marketing backwards, attracting the right developers for the wrong reasons.
