I decided to call them, since it's here in KY, and they say it is looking like
December. The list will be around $2000 without the 500 MB recommended drive.
It includes component/Y/C and composite connectors. From what I understand, it
is recorded in 4:2:2 component.
If you want to record video in, you'll probably want the TBC IV. For output
only, you don't need it, says DPS.
About the quality, I have heard of a guy that is selling a recordable video
disk recorder because he likes the DPS better. (that sold me!)
Well I hope that helps. I, personally, am kinda skeptical about the December
date, since I called last month and they said to call back this month. Now
they say December.
I could be wrong, but all I have been hearing are promises on this and that,
but few results for many, many things.
