Those two cases you commented on especially! It is the employers who are on the short side of the stick here for anyone who knows their 'rights'. As an employer, I am constantly made aware of these things and must keep up with the way the laws are structured here. The employers are always guilty until proven innocent, a structure that does not make having your own business fun at all. If you want to see how it works, just hire a few people, you'll be amazed at how soon you learn to hate both the government intervention and the unions!
