I think some fairy tales, once considered innocent or at least harmless, have now been banned or censored in some American schools. Especially religious schools where there is sexual symbolism or in liberal schools where the content is considered politically incorrect (offensive to women, offensive to racial or religious groups, offensive to ferrets etc). I think it's going too far, myself. I heard a story about a college in the USA somewhere called Antioch college which requires all new students to attend a class on proper sexual behaviour and consent. Apparently, a man or woman needs to ask his partner for permission before doing anything and everything. For example: man or woman says "May I kiss you now?" "Yes". "May I unbutton your shirt?" "Yes" "May I touch your ******?" "Maybe" "No, I'm sorry I need a specific yes or no, answer." "OK" "Is OK a yes, or a no, or an OK, I understand?" "OK is yes, you fool! Just do it" "No, I can't just do it. We have to do the proper thing in the correct order" "Well, just forget it! I'm going to the library! Goodbye…" There I go again, my imagination running away with me. It's not as bad as it sounds. It could work well for some people, but not others. Did they do that in the Little Mermaid? I need to watch it again.
