Dave,
As you may have noticed on the box, there are different versions of 3.1
for the A2000, A3000 and A4000 computers. Aside from a handwritten check
in the block on the box, I'm not sure how to tell which version you have.
Is it possible that you have the ROM for the wrong machine? Perhaps
someone knows by part numbers….
