I believe it IS inexpensive. While true that there are single-frame alternatives that are inexpensive they require a deck capable of sinlge-frame recording, several thousands of $$$. I am doing 3D freelance work at home (part-time) and don't have money to buy or rent decks to s-f to because I have clients that use SVHS, BetaSP and 3/4". So instead I use the PAR and take my machine to thier studio and dump to thier decks, simple AND inexpensive.
