Dan, VOREC will not do what you have in mind. Do you remember the famous "Clapper" advertised on TV a few years back. You plugged it into the wall socket and connected a light or what have you to it. Clap your hands … lights on. Clap them again….lights off. Well, Vorec One is kind of a clapper for the Amiga. Instead of turning on lights, it starts up tasks. It's recognition isn't really that hot. I'm not really trying to bad rap it; I love my Amiga toys and have had alot of fun with this one. Currently I have it hooked up to accept input from my two year old son's gizmo that generates four different sounds. One sound triggers an audio visual alphabet and number tutor, another produces a slide show of family and friends and a third plays midi files. Haven't had time to put anything together for the last sound but I'm thinking about a slide show of trains and heavy equiptment….he's really into that stuff. There really are alot of cool things you can do with this but transcribing audio to text is a little beyond its capacity. -Richard
