This has been done by many people including myself. First of all I am assuming
you do not have an Amiga program to convert files, if you had:
ASDG's Art Department Prof
Black Belts's Image Master
GVP Image F/X
among others you could convert them in the Amiga.
I am assuming you don't.
Then save the Toaster frame file using Toaster Paint as an RGB file (not a
framestore). This will give you 24 bit IFF. Now move the file to the PC.
Then over there you can use any of the file converters on the PC.
HSI's Image Alchemy (shareware version can be found in CIS)
Inset System's HIJAAK (around $85 in the stores)
Adobe's PhotoShop (around $500 in the stores)
and (maybe) Graphics WorkShop (shareware can be found inCIS)
except for Graphics WorkShop hich I have never done 24 bit IFF the others will
convert 24 IFF to almost anything. Maybe other can give you help on other
utilities.
