EdV: If what you say is true, you are right, I am making it too hard. However, when I go to change the filesystem, a little window pops up with [ l:fastfilesystem]. Now maybe this is left over from 2.04, but it is even showing up on a new blank cartridge. I don't know where it is getting this from then. I have to just find a little more time to sort things out. I will take your information to heart and see if it helps explain what is going on. I'll let you know if I am just fouling up and being stupid. Regards, Norm
