Thanks for the advice, but I did take the mouse apart; try to move the rollers by hand and then I cleaned it. The problem persists. I even used the L-Amiga+cursor key combination to try to move the pointer. Even that way, the problem persists, so I don't think it's the mouse. I am willing to try replacing the CIA chips. Does anyone out there have any for sale? Or does anyone out there have any other ideas? Richard
