#Tandy Port Ext.
I picked up a Tandy Parallel port extension kit today. I'm using with a
4000/40 and GVP IOExtender, set up as an IBM parallel port. It really
works. But the best part is this:
Time to print a fax normal cable 18 min
Time to print same fax with kit 4 min
That's right. For some reason The Tandy kit sped up throughtput by a
factor of 4.5. I am using ParPrefs to shift printing to the GVP board and
IBMPrt from AmigaUser libs.

Pin 14 on the kit is labeled as /autofeed. Does anyone think that sending
+5v from the regular Amiga port would hurt either?
