Ron,
a most curious choice of parameters. He can't. Unless you go through
a lot of legal hoops, installed in the '30's as I recall, you can not
legally own an automatic firearm of any type. You have to be a registered
collector complete with background checks that make my TS clearance look
mild, at the least.
I, for one, don't have many problems with that, although it should be
reconsidered for true members of the militia given that they have a
definite military purpose. What is your cutoff for militias? Where is
your cutoff for valid civilian use of firearms?
