INDY RENDERING
I don't suppose you've contacted the WINCIM forum. I was planning to go there
and see if we have common problems with others. This is really getting to be a
pain in the BU**. I have to rebuild indexes every day. I get CDATE.idx errors
and have a backup CDATE.idx file on hand for this. I keep telling myself that
it must be my system trusting that people who wrote the software don't have
these problems. Since you've reported similar I now wonder. In the positive
side I have saved lots of money with CIS NAV.
I don't have a MAC here. My wife had an 850 at her last job and she hated it.
She used to have to rush home and jump on the system here to finish her
spreadsheets at lunch so she could meet deadlines. She uses Excel and Word and
always said how much faster our DX2's were in comparison. In her new job they
let her pick her computer and she got a DX2 with 16 megs RAM. I never see her
at lunch anymore. In fact I never hear her complain about her computer either.
