Stephen, DXF export is very easy from Playmation or Anim. Master. But, you need to have the latest Revs. Playmation 1.48 or later should have the Export DXF command in the file menu. If not, call Hash Inc. at 206-699-5360 and get it. The real problem with export DXF is the playmation file structure. First open a segment you want to export. Then click Export DXF in file menu. Then comes the problems. In the window that comes up, go to the far right and click the Project Name. That will highlight it. Click Save. That will bring up the projectt names in the center window. Double click on the project directory. That will open the file to the segments. Then in the left window, you see the segment name highlighted. The Save name window should be empty. Type in the name you want for the DXF , no extension needed, and hit enter. That will (should) save the DXF next to the .seg file you have open. To get the DXF out of the segment level, which is burried in the project file, you go to Windows File Manager, and do an Expand branch until you get down to that level. Then you can use F7 for a transfer file directly into the 3DS/Meshes directory. Then load it using the defaults. It always works for me and I never have to reverse normals or do any smoothing. Just Apply mapping coords. and you're set. Hope this helps. Regards, Sanford
