#Still need FLC info
Hi again.
I'm converting Mac PICS files to FLC format, and need to know the capabilities
of the FLC format. Specifically, I need to know whether FLCs are used in a
"Matte" mode in presentation-orientated software (not 3DS)
My main concern is whether FLCs are limited to a bounding box or whether a
colour is nominated as the matte channel. For example, a Mac user could place
a PICS animation of a coin spinning on top of any background as traditionally
cell 0 of the system palette defines the matte colour. How does this work with
FLCs? Or would it be limited to its bounding box?
FWIW, I'm doing animated bullet points, and the user wants to mix and match
backgrounds and bullets, and the backgrounds are bitmaps. I'm trying to avoid
matting every single combination myself <g> 😉
Hope you understand this – shout if you're confused.
TIA,
Matt
