Hey Millard, I was just reading all the discussions in Navplayer. Are you located in Gainsville, Fla. ? If so I have been in touch with Keith and stopped by to see you guys at Siggraph. I have had a couple of requests to provide Virtual type worlds that can be "navigated" in real time. Immersion is not a real issue with these people. They simply want to set up a computer at a sales office of say a new housing/golf community and prospective buyers have the ability to walk around the project. I realize the geometry would have to broken down into "mini worlds" but overall it sounds like this may be acheivable with the NAVflyer. I am both an ACAD and 3DS user in Largo. Fla. (near Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater) and very interested in seeing this product. About six months ago I told the inquiring parties that we were about a year away from bringing this technology to them and would love to call them back and update them on the subject. In order for me to this I will need some particulars such as optimum systems, frames per second the Navflyer would produce, resolution, etc.. Additionally it is my understanding that the NAVflyer will run on 3DS files, is this correct? Will I need have CDK? Is the NAVflyer a "player" of sorts? All information on the subject will be most appreciated. Jeff Reisner, CADESIGN 12816 129th Ave. North Largo, Florida 34644 (813) 595-7263
