Amiga & Ethernet
Lots of Amigas (including many with Toasters) have Ethernet cards in them.
A fairly inexpensive transceiver would let you convert a thin-Ethernet
port to a 10-Base-T (twisted pair) Ethernet. The A4066 card has all three
types of connectors (thin, thick, 10-Base-T).
The hardware is the easy part. The software you need for "shared
rendering via Lightwave" is two-part. You need a network protocol
installed, and you need to do some work yourself (like writing scripts
which pass things around to let another machine go to work on rendering)
or buy a product to automate it. I'm not a Toaster expert, so I don't
know the details of the later, but I know that it has been done many times
by many people. Maybe someone else can help.
