Garry, No…actually, I believe in the Supreme Court's decisions, I am merely stating that when looking at what the writers of the constitution intended, you have to look at THEN, not some time after then. In other words, what did the framers of the constitution mean when they used the term Militia? Did they mean the official state organization or did they mean all males 18 to 35 (or 45 or whatever)? And how do you reconcile that for folks outside that gender and age range? Are they not permitted to bear arms? And why the change in the wording from 'A well regulated Militia' to 'the right of the people…'? Don
