Well, I was playing with the VP card today (at MicroWorks, Buffalo), it is a beta board and had some bugs still. The layout is simular to the Toaster, so the learning curve is low. Some of the keyboard short-cuts are the same. Some of the effects looked great, while others were a bit faint. But you have lots of variety, wipes, dves, alphas. VP paints with Opal paint, and the CG is Montage24. There is a DVE editor which was simular to other broadcast DVE editors. DVE's compressed at 1×2 on MicroWorks 3000, they say that it will compress 1×1 pixels on a A4000. I only had ten minutes on it before the next guy. BTW the software came on CD-Rom.
