CompuServe Messages

During January 14th & 15th this section (section 17) and it's associated library section (lib 17) will be moving to section 23 and lib 23. All existing messages and files will be moved. If you find that you do not have access to section 23 and lib 23 after these dates, please send email to me (76702,531) or post a message to "*sysop" (the '*' is very important) and we will open access to you. Before you send the message, reset your communication software by either deleting the database entry (in WINCIM), or rejoining the forum (TAPCIS) to see section 23. Everyone who has access to this section will be given access to the new section. The old section 13 will remain for a few days after the move with this message in place to notify people who haven't logged in beforehand. Users of certain communications software need to make sure they have a version that will handle sections above 17. All versions of WinCIM, MacCIM, NavCIS and ASCII programs (ProComm, OzCIS, etc.) will access the new areas, automatically. Programs which need updating to access areas above section 17 are: DOSCIM – You need version 2.2, or later (GO CIMSOFT). If you don't wish to upgrade, you must enter the forum in Terminal Emulation mode (GO ASCII) to see the sections above 17. Mac Navigator – you need version 3.2.1, or later (GO NAVIGATOR). TAPCIS – you need version 5.42, or later (GO TAPCIS). AutoSIG – you need version 7, or later (GO IBMCOM).
