John, Thanks for the help! >>4) Pay close attention to gamma settings. I found with my old Targa+ that 1.8 – 2.0 yeilded good results for brighter scenes, and 1.3 – 1.5 was good for dark, contrasty scenes.<< I have been rendering at .7 to 1.0. Anything above this starts to show stripes in solid colors. Is this due to my using 640×480 res? I really appreciate your advice. I am starting to get some good results from following your tips.
