Tim, I'll respond to both the message you sent me previously on working on a proposal for the "education side" of the equation and to this "SOS" email. First, thanks for taking the time to put together this thoughtful message Tim. As one that puts together more than his share of responses and can readily appreciate the time it takes. I can also understand and relate to your message both on the rationale of why you are so passionate about some of these topics, and your current "state of affairs" in the classroom. Having been on "your side of the fence" in education for over 15 years I too am very passionate about the issues of education and learning. I made the switch from public education to business when I joined Autodesk, out of my passion to have an effect on education and individuals beyond what I was able to in my classrooms or the education institutions and systems I was an adminstrating. So, let's agree that we, and many others here, share this common passion and now move on to see what we can do to turn these "ideas into reality", which is (not coincidentally) Autodesk's vision statement. I will continue to follow the threads here on CIS and look forward to your resultant proposal such that we can move on to the most appropriate next steps. wayne ======
