#Hardware Lock &Windows
I am currently running 3d-Studio from a windows sesion as decribed in the
installation manual. I am running windows for workgroups and my computer has
been chosen to act as the printer server. I have been getting garbled dat when
other users print through my machine to the printer. These problems go away
when I remove the hardware lock supplied to me. Is my hardware lock broke?
Can I configure my hardware lock to use another LPT port such that that is the
only thing on that device. ie Run my printers on LPT1 and my hardware lock on
LPT2. Is there any others seeing this problem? Do others run under Windows
for workgroups? Are you having any problems? Awaiting answers so I can get on
with Animations. ………..I must run under a Windows platform so my files
are accesable to other heads on the network. Any help will be apriated.
