I just finished doing just about that trying to solve a batch render problem … But at some point, if a problem is really sporadic, and you're fairly confident you can slide around it with compulsive multiple backups, you have to ask how cost-effective it is to spend the time tracking down the exact cause, no? <<try to duplicate it immediately>> That's of course, really good scientific advice. Next time this happens (if ever), once the icy clutch of fear releases my heart, I'll immediately try to reproduce, rather than fousing all efforts on restoring the project I was working on. THanks again for all your advice. If the problem reappears and I am able to determine the cause, I'll let you know, just to see if it was a controller card thing. GAyle G de N
