Dan, I've only had to call #9 tech support once, and they suggested I try the newer drivers for my Windows problem, and that solved it. (The problem was that Windows wouldn't hold the 70hz refresh I had set; it kept reverting to 60hz. New drivers fixed it.) The only other thing is that you need the UNIVBE.ZIP VESA driver, (here in the forum), to run Flight Simulator 5 at high resolution. The card comes with VESA 1.02 in the bios, but FS 5 needs VESA 1.2, which UNIVBE gives you. I've installed 3 of these cards in our machines, and they've consistently worked great, and they just popped right in with no problems at all. There aren't even any jumpers on the card. 4megs gives you true color at 1024×768, and they even have a utility in Windows that lets you adjust your color balance to match whatever you want. All three cards are running in Pentium 90's using Intel's Neptune chipset. Two we built from the ground up, the third is a Dell our office manager uses. (That's when I had to track down the driver for Flight Simulator 5.) <g> I personally recommend it without any reservations whatsoever. No problems at all switching modes, and once I found out how to set the refresh rates in DOS, (it was buried in a readme file on the AutoCAD drivers disk), and got the new Windows drivers, have not had a single problem.
