well that's not the discussion here, fortunately. However, I would say in
general that for rendering I've found 3d Studio can use almost every bit of
extra clock speed that it can get. This might not be true for other
applications where clock speed is only a small part of the equation, but it has
been my experience with 3ds' intense floating point requirements.
