I've seen the ads, but hadn't really been motivated to look at them more closely. (Maybe that says something about its quality from the outset? :^) It's funny, I had always figured it was done by a European artist, but I see it's the same artist who did the Cybernetica ad, and you say he's located in your area? It _is_ very dark, and while the choice of purple on purple might look cool on a phosphor monitor, the main logo text does kind of fade into the background. Though, when it comes to the spanish galleon w/ thrusters, there is a precedent for such things. TSR came out with an AD&D game series called SpellJammer, where magical 'ships' of a shape and design plied the ether between the crystal spheres of the other game universes. Never played it, but they had some cool artwork for the ships, etc. Now, I would have used something besides 'Gold-FractalReflections' as the surface texture for the sails, but let's not be picky..:^) Keep On Toastin' Erik Flom – ELF Works 3D Construction Co.
