#*.IFF files – TPaint
I need to use graphics created on a PC on my Toaster. I tried a test and it
did not work. Here are the steps I used. Maybe somebody can help me identify
my error.
1. Convert 256-color GIF graphic to IFF. (I used a new shareware program
called JASC MEDIA CENTER. I also have but did not try Hijaak 2. Both
programs are on my PC.)
2. Put IFF file on a low density disk and put disk in my Amiga.
3. Use CrossDos to read disk. Icon shows disk name.
4. Start Toaster. Start Toaster Paint.
5. Open File with LOAD RGB.
The file loads but is very very distorted. Is the root of my problem that the
orginal was only 256 colors?
