Mike, one other find (bug?) with 3.1 in field rendering mode on the Amiga.
Lets say you are moving a logo around the screen and you want to have the
first and last frames on screen for a couple of seconds before you start
to play and stop recording the animation. I feel the first and last frames
should be rendered in frame mode so the image is not flickering back and
forth on the screen. Currently I rerender the first and last frames in
frame mode and then append them to the amination. Can't this be done in
software?
Until the Amiga version 3.1 field mode to PAR problem is corrected I am
rendering to a directory on my hard drive and then importing the frames
with the PAR software. Another bug I found is that the last frame renders
in Impulse-24 bit format, not IFF, the rest are in ILBM format. I double
checked my setup and indeed I had ILBM-24bit selected. I even tried it a
couple of times with the same results. I end up reading the last frame
with ADPro (which reported it to be in Impulse format) and saved it in
ILBM format.
