Dear Tracy <<Glad you are getting a positive response.>> I was so pleased by the response to the new WordPerfect 6.x macro that I went ahead and did the WinWord 6.x version (additional details in "WinWord Template/Macro!") It is functionally identical to the WordPerfect version and looks exactly the same: it differs only in that it is a template and that it is an incremental enhancement of the WordPerfect version. All eight of the WinWord template's available Business and Home address lines can be modified to any valid DDE item in Address Book, for example <COUNTRY>, <ZIP> or <DEPT NO>. This feature is obviously useful for those who enter their data "logically" in Address Book (line 1, 2, 3 rather than line 1, 3, 2; the template lets them switch the address elements to display correctly), and for non-US users who may want <ZIP> or <HOME ZIP> to display on a line by itself. The WinWord template is numbered 2.1 as it meets and slightly exceeds the feature set of the current 2.0 WordPerfect version. The WordPerfect version will be upgraded in a few weeks when WPWin 6.1 comes out. It will take advantage of new features in 6.1, will have user-definable default address elements, and will be a template. <<I'm sure Konstantin and our developers can handle DTS 5.0 but we appreciate the offer.<g> >> OK, maybe not 5.0, but I'm wondering if an Ami Pro version of the template/macro can be far behind… (Will I ever get that new script finished?<g>) David P.S. As I know you're a WinWord user, I'll e-mail you a copy on Monday.
