Stuart, >> Thanks for your reply. I noticed you, like me, have tried Ecco before. How >> would you compare the learning curve between Ecco and DTS? Ecco's learning curve seemed much steeper than DTS if I really wanted to take advantage of its appealing outline and database features. On top of that, I especially needed the basics, like an excellent address book — ECCO seemed much too anemic. DTS's learning curve seems different. More like learning you way around a new town — whereas ECCO was a bit more like learning to speak a foreign language. >> Also have you looked at Goldmine, it is the only other one I am considering >> at this point? I have not used Goldmine. It caught my attention several months ago when I started looking. I took a hard look at its features, etc., but something about its implementation stopped me from ordering. I don't really remember anything concrete. There's something intrinsically exciting about this PIM stuff… maybe its potential to empower… I swear, if I had an extra life I'd just love to study all the good points of the various PIMs out there and set out to build something so totally excellent that it would sweep the market. Just imagine it… Ascend's turbo file… ACT!'s history list… CrossTie's document interconnections… I'm still betting on Konstantin, et al., and Okna to do just this. They could pull it off. <eek, I'm getting weird> –Scott
