I use a program called Barclock to start my calendar and reminders every morning at 0800. Among other useful features (it places the date and time in the top bar of the active Windows program, has alarms, a calendar, and a resource monitor), it will run programs at preset times on a daily, weekly, monthly or single-event basis. I have it run a Windows recorder macro that runs Ozcis for Windows at 0500 every morning, and at 0800 each day, it just runs Calendar and Reminders directly. There are a number of schedulers out there, many of them shareware (as is Barclock), but this is the one I use for this function. If you left your machine on all of the time, you could have a Windows recorder shut down the program at midnight, then start them up again at the beginning of your day. If you're interested in Barclock, leave E-mail for Patrick Breen [70312,743]. He's the author.
