CompuServe Messages

I have just downloaded Term 4.2 and installed it on my hard disk. When I try to run it, I get the error message "Failed to open GTDISPLAY.LIBRARY" despite the fact that this file is (as per instructions) in the same directory as Term. All suggestions appreciated.
