10.19.94 TO: All 3D Studio IPAS plug-in developers and programmers FROM: Tim Forcade, Forcade & Associates RE: The 3D Studio/IPAS Visual Reference, a book & CD, from New Riders Publishing ATTENTION !!! – ALL IPAS DEVELOPERS & PROGRAMMERS We are producing a new book/CD bundle entitled The 3D Studio/IPAS Visual Reference which will be published by New Riders Publishing, Indianapolis, IN. The full color book will provide a complete visual reference to the over 200 3D Studio IPAS plug-ins along with an explanation of the outstanding capabilities, the applications, and the key variables for each plug-in. A series of full color image arrays will be used to illustrate the use of each plug-in and its associated parameters. Along with the book will be a CD-ROM based version which will permit the user to quickly locate specific effects based on search criteria such as color, texture, plug-in type, effect type, etc. The CD-ROM will also contain numerous demonstration IPAS versions along with purchase information for all IPAS plug-ins.
