John I am currently using the old tried and proven CPU command to load fast ram on the theory that the mmu-less thingy could be bad. No help. I am using the derringer D3 command with only the DRAM option to bring the 32 bit memory online. I never did get the masks on my drives changed, the format/partition software from ICD for the Trifecta doesn't let you do that and I am still trying to figure out how to make HDtoolbox do it. (got it to accept trifecta.device but afraid of wiping out my whole system with it). I do feel it is a scsi bus lockup problem in my case because on occasion I have had one or another drive light locked on and the thing frozen up. I have to turn power off the drive to get it unhung. Never had that before. Frankly I have been too busy durng the day to call CSA and seek assistance with it but if my BBS stays down much more I may have to give up and yank it. Only thing I can think to do at the second is to swap in a nonbuffering non-DMA ICD2000 controller for a while and stop using any fast-rom option at all. I will try that tonight.
