Alex, I have already read the other 2 replies, I hope mine is a better solution for you. It sounds like mabe your hard drive went bad. I say thisbecause It happened to me on my A500 one time. I had just recieved my A2000Impact series 1 SCSI card (this was in 1989, and the card had no hard driveon it, just 2MB RAM), installed it in my ToolBus expansion chassis, and uponturning my machine on, I got nothing but a grey screen. It turns out that Ihad the SCSI card set to AutoBoot, and there was no Hard drive to boot from,so it hung there. I don't know if the A3000 has a way of dealing with harddrives in this situation, but turning off AutoBoot fixed my problem until Igot a hard drive. So, just check out your hard drive, make sure it spins atleast before going after the hard-to-find chips. Good luck! –IBM compatable technician by day, Amiga madman by night– Rick Green, Mobile, Al
