Way ahead of you..unfortunately no luck so far (thanks all for suggestions). I pulled everything out. I don't think it's the harddrive (disconnected all drives from the bus and still nada (no WB prompt). I thought it might be something to do with RAM (I had installed some new zip stuff last week) but it doesn't look like it. I pulled all the zip ram and set the jumper (J852) to the 256×4 position and tried it with dips. still nothing… As for a possible cpu error I guess I could take my 3640 (2640?)..my 0'40 board out of my tower at home and stick it in this machine to see what happens..I know it won't fit right but it's only a test so I figure I can keep the drive frame high enough to see if it works. Since the board is in a 3000T now I shouldn't have to be changing jumpers or anything should I (my tower was an 0'40 from day one so it doesn't have a processor on the motherboard)? I wish I had a set of spare chips that I could swap out with (I don't feel inclined to start pulling all of the chips out of my tower).. Any other suggestions all? Alex
