Do you think you friend would be willing to open his miracle piano and maybe you open yours and compare notes to see if the wiring/component configuration is different. Things to check for would be items such as miracle port wiring and the driver chip/hardware that drives the miracle port and see how it differs. Again Software Tool Works must know something of the differences because the software would have to be programmed to access the port properly (one would think). If not, the changes would have to be entirely hardware oriented. Here's another thought. See if your friends PC will drive your Amiga miracle piano.
