Rich; I couldn't let your negative comments pass without adding my two cents. I am running an A2000, GVP G'40 @33 MHz, DKB 2 Megs chip ram, 16 Meg 32 bit ram on GVP board. I have 2 internal HD's (total storeage 303 Megs) and a Bernoulli 150 Meg external HD; plus OpalVision board, Vlab digitizer, PicassoII, and Emplant. Not long ago, 3 sales reps from a company that sells computer related video and graphic systems to big companies in the New York suburban area came to my house to demo a Polaroid CI3000 unit. When I told them on the phone that I had an Amiga, they wondered whether or not it would function with their unit, since, of course, they worked almost exclusively with IBMs and compatibles, and had never seen an Amiga. I connected the unit to my system and started booting up various 24-bit pictures which I had processed in various ways in order to see what the output quality would be on the Polaroid unit. As I did this, I could see them looking at each other over my shoulder. I stopped and looked at their amazed faces. "What's the matter",I said, expecting them to say something to the effect that they couldn't believe I was considering spending a considerable amount of money on such a pathetic computer. They said they had never seen such a fast computer system in any of the businesses they visited! Their awed expressions were a compliment to my Amiga. The only mistake I made was not getting a written statement from them. Hank
